The Juvenile Division is located on the second floor of the Yuba County Courthouse. Juvenile matters are confidential. The clerk’s office cannot provide any information to you by telephone. Persons authorized to obtain information must appear in person and present photo identification.

Juvenile Hearings

The juvenile calendar is heard in Department 1 each Monday at 9:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., and Thursday at 9:00 a.m., except as otherwise scheduled. Please remember that shorts and tank tops may not be worn in the courtrooms.

School Attendance Review Board (SARB) Hearings

SARB, or School Attendance Review Board, hearings are heard in Department 6 on Thursdays at 9:00 a.m. If you have questions regarding SARB matters, you may reach the SARB secretary at 741-6157.

Juvenile Traffic and Juvenile Citations

Juvenile citations are handled by the Family Court Services division at the Richard A Schoenig Annex. Juvenile citations are heard by the Juvenile Hearing Officer. For general information, you can contact the Juvenile Hearing Officer at 749-7685.
