Local rules of Court
Court proceedings are governed by both state rules and local rules. The state rules (California Rules of Court) are the same for each court and take precedence over local rules. Local rules vary from court to court and are intended to supplement and enhance the statutes and rules provided in the California statutes and the California Rules of Court.
In accordance with California Rules of Court rule 10.613, any proposed changes to the local rules will be available on this website for public comment for at least 45 days before they are adopted.
The current local rules may be purchased at the courthouse for a nominal fee. In addition, they are available for download below.
