If you fail to appear on your citation or fail to pay the ordered fine, the Court will notify DMV.

Non-correctable violations

Juveniles are required to appear with a parent(s) or guardian(s) on all citations.

correctable violations

Even if your citation is for a correctable violation, a court appearance is still required.   You must bring the completed proof of correction to court with you.

Traffic School

The original certificate for traffic school completion must be returned to the Court within 60 days from the date of your appearance.   Online traffic school is NOT AUTHORIZED, unless specifically ordered by the Juvenile Hearing Officer.   If you fail to complete traffic school and/or fail to provide the Court with a certificate of completion, the Court will report your citation to DMV as a traffic conviction, which could adversely affect your insurance.
