The Civil Division of Yuba County Superior Court handles all Probate, Trusts, Guardianship, Conservatorship and LPS Conservatorship cases.

Probate is the court-supervised process of settling a person’s estate after their death. The court also hears disputes pertaining to living and testamentary trusts	The Court posts Probate Notes, showing Court Staff’s evaluation of certain matters pending in Probate Court.	Guardianship is a court process by which a person other than a parent is given custody of a child. Conservatorship is the court process by which a person is appointed to manage the affairs of someone who is not able to manage their own affairs.
